The Australian Turf Club (ATC) has again achieved elite honours at the 2020 Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence for outstanding hospitality, food and service at Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens.
The prestigious awards recognise industry excellence amongst restaurants, convention centres, venues and events across Australia.
Rosehill Gardens won the NSW Function/Convention Centre Caterer of the Year to give the superior Western Sydney venue back-to-back victories in the category.
Rosehill Gardens’ Executive Chef Gerry Maher was also nominated for NSW Chef of the Year.
Under the leadership of Executive Chef George Mullen, Royal Randwick received honourable recognition as NSW Events Caterer of the Year.
The Australian Turf Club annually hosts almost 400 raceday and non-raceday events – attended by more than 853,000 people and serviced by almost 3,000 full-time and casual staff – at its five Sydney venues Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, Canterbury Park, Warwick Farm and Rosehill Bowling Club.
Australian Turf Club Chief Executive Jamie Barkley said the awards recognised the elite level of skills, leadership and hospitality service across ATC venues.
