Yes, you may pay in monthly installments via direct debit. To pay by the month, simply select yourMembership package, click the join or renew button, fill out the easy to follow online joining form, and at the payment screen, select Direct Debit as your payment option.
Yes, as an Australian Turf Club Member you are entitled to bring guests with you to any race meeting held by the Club. Guests will pay a fee to enter the racecourse and an additional fee for access to the Members’ Reserve.
There are three ways that Members can obtain Members’ and Entrance Tickets for their guests:
Option 1 – Annual Guest Card
Annual Guest Card’s allow your guest entry to the Racecourse and Members’ Reserve. This card is fully transferable, which means you may bring different guests with you each time you attend the races. Please note that the Annual Guest Card is attached to your Membership and the cardholder is not considered a Member of the Australian Turf Club. Annual Guest Cards are $325 each and are valid until 31 December and may be purchased at any time throughout the year.
Lost or stolen Membership cards or Annual Guests can be replaced upon notification in writing and payment of the replacement card fee.
Option 2 – Members’ Reserve Day Ticket
Daily Member’s Guest Tickets can be pre-purchased by phone or email firstname.lastname@example.org and posted to you if purchased at least 7 business days prior to the race meeting. You may also purchase tickets over the counter at the Australian Turf Club Membership Office up until 5pm on the day prior to the race meeting.
Alternatively, you may purchase Daily Member’s Guest Tickets at the Raceday Ticket Office on the course at which the race meeting is being held. The price for Daily Member’s Guest Ticket ranges from – per person depending on the race meeting. Tickets are limited during Carnival events.
Option 3 – ‘Early Renewal Reward’ ticket vouchers
If you received ‘Early Renewal Reward’ ticket vouchers for renewing your Membership prior to 31 December you may redeem these (as specified by the terms and conditions of the vouchers) by mailing the vouchers at least 7 business days prior to the race meeting, with a letter detailing the race day you wish to attend and the mailing address for tickets to be posted.
Alternatively, Members may redeem ticket vouchers in person over the counter at the Australian Turf Club Membership Office up until 5pm on the day prior to the race meeting or at the Raceday Ticket Office on the course at which the race meeting is being held. Vouchers must have Member name and number completed on reverse side as indicated on voucher.
Please note: Lost, stolen or misplaced tickets, booklets or vouchers cannot be replaced.
We ask that potential new Members are proposed for Membership by an existing Member in order to comply with the Registered Clubs Act 1976 and also with Australian Turf Club corporate governance guidelines. If you do not know any current Members you can simply include the details of a professional or personal referee who can verify your identity and that you are a suitable candidate for Membership.
Once your application and payment has been received, your application will be submitted to the Australian Turf Club Board of Directors for approval. Once approved, your Membership card will be mailed to you in approximately 10 working days. Should you wish to attend any race meetings whilst your application is being processed, please contact the Membership Department email@example.com and request a paper Member’s ticket for that particular race meeting.
While it is not mandatory that Members provide an email address, in support of our goal to reduce our carbon footprint the Australian Turf Club will increasingly be communicating information to Members via email. In addition, special offers throughout the season will be sent to Members via email. You can supply your email via:

The Membership season runs from 1 January to 31 December. Renewal notices are sent to Members prior to the beginning of the new Membership season. There is generally a transition period between seasons where either season’s card can be used for entry. During Membership renewals our offices are inundated with Membership application forms, the processing and delivery of packs may be delayed at this busy period so we appeal to Members for patience as we process the multiple forms and mail out new Membership packs.
Membership fees for the current season are due on 31 December and are payable annually on 31 December thereafter. There is generally a transition period between seasons where either season’s card can be used for entry, after this time Membership cards are deactivated and non-renewing Members are considered inactive.
To return to the Club, the inactive Members are required to pay all outstanding fees, or rejoin the Club, to return to financial status. The previous joining date will no longer be relevant and the Members joining date will commence from the new date he/she renews Membership.
NB: Fees will not be pro-rated for lapsed Members.
Rosehill Gardens, Royal Randwick and Canterbury Park gates usually open at 11am. For Canterbury Park night meetings, gates open at 6pm.
Due to occupational health and safety regulations, under no circumstances will Members be permitted to enter the racecourse prior to the Members’ gate opening times. Members found on course prior to the official gate opening times may be asked to leave the course. Gate times will vary on feature racedays and during winter.
The loss or theft of Membership cards, annual guest cards and car passes must be reported to the Membership Department as soon as possible. A replacement fee of $30.00 applies to each lost Member card or annual guest card. The fee will be waived if a copy of a stolen property police report is provided.
If you forget your Membership card on a raceday, you will be required to pay the racecourse entry fee and then proceed to the Raceday Ticket Office / General Office where you will be asked to provide suitable identification upon which a temporary Members’ ticket will be issued to you for the day.
No, Member cards are strictly non-transferable. Lending a Membership card to a non-Member is a serious breach of the Australian Turf Club policy and may lead to a review by the ATC Board of Directors’ of the Member.
Lending Member cards to others in order to purchase daily Members tickets is also prohibited under Club rules.
Each ATC Member agreed to abide by club rules when signing the Membership renewal form, signature card or new Member application. Member cards discovered in use by any person other than the Member will be confiscated on the spot.
No, Memberships are not transferable and should you decide not to renew your Membership, your Membership account and all associated cards and passes will become inactive. In the event of the death of a Member it is incumbent on the next of kin to advise the Club in writing as soon as is practical.
Children under 18 years are entitled to ‘free entry’ to the racecourse when accompanied by a responsible, adult guardian.
For the convenience of parents, there are Parents Rooms located at each course:
Rosehill Gardens: Level 3 of the JR Fleming (public) grandstand. A baby change table facility is located on Level 2 of the Members’ Reserve (Opposite Members’ Concierge) inside the disabled toilet facility. High chairs are also available in the Palms Brasserie within the Members’ Reserve.
Royal Randwick: Inside the children’s playground area near the Members’ Gate off the main drive.
NB: On certain race dates there may be additional children’s’ activities available at the race course. Please refer to the Australian Turf Club website or contact the Membership Department for further information.
