We kindly ask guests to adhere to our dress code which is in place to maintain the sense of occasion that makes a raceday so special. Our Style Guide is put together to guide and inspire you with what to wear on a raceday.

Ladies - Members
Ladies are expected to maintain a suitable standard in keeping with the regulations of the Members Reserve. Dress code also applies to members’ guests and those day guests in dining rooms and venues within the members reserve areas. Dress code applies for children 14 years and over.
Not Acceptable:
- Any form of the following footwear; joggers, sports shoes, track shoes, runners, thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs, gumboots or slippers
- Jeans/denim, jodhpurs, shorts, untailored pants or playsuits
- Torn or ripped clothing
- Garments which show midriff and have cut-outs
- Leggings worn as pants
- Parkas, duffle coats, windbreakers, tracksuit tops, denim jackets or anoraks
Please note, the more relaxed Dress Code applies to midweek fixtures at Rosehill Gardens and Royal Randwick (excluding Bentley Cup Day in November where Members’ Dress Code applies).

Ladies are expected to maintain a suitable standard in keeping with the regulations of the Members Reserve. However, on midweek fixtures at Royal Randwick (excluding Bentley Cup Day in November) and Rosehill Gardens; and all fixtures at Canterbury Park and Warwick Farm, Ladies are permitted to wear jeans (without rips), chinos or untailored slacks. Dress code applies for children 14 years and over.
Not Acceptable:
- Any form of the following footwear; joggers, sports shoes, track shoes, runners, thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs, gumboots or slippers
- Jodhpurs, shorts or playsuits
- Torn or ripped clothing
- Garments which show midriff or with cut-outs

Women must be smartly dressed in raceday attire; heels are optional.

- Sneakers, thongs or barefoot
- Offensive attire (inappropriate language and/or imagery)

Ladies - General Admission
There is no formal dress code in General Admission but we recommend smart dress befitting of a raceday occasion. All general admission dining rooms and function venues require smart casual attire. Dress code applies for children 14 years and over.
Not Acceptable:
- Fancy dress costumes
- Tattered clothing or shoes
- Thongs or barefoot
- Offensive attire (inappropriate language and/or imagery)
Gentlemen - Members Royal Randwick & Rosehill Gardens (excluding midweek racing)
Gentlemen - Members
Gentlemen are required to wear tailored pants, dress shoes, a collared shirt and tie and a jacket, sports coat or blazer in Members areas at Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens. Dress code also applies to members’ guests and those day guests in dining rooms and venues within the Members Reserve areas.
During daylight savings, jackets are optional within the Members Reserve (The Chairman’s Club requires a jacket at all times). Ties are always required in the Members Reserve area. Members found not wearing a tie within the Members area will be asked to purchase a tie from the Members Concierge.
Dress code applies for children 14 years and over.

Gentlemen are expected to maintain a suitable standard in keeping with the regulations of the Members Reserve. However, on midweek fixtures at Royal Randwick (excluding Bentley Cup Day) and Rosehill Gardens; and all fixtures at Canterbury Park and Warwick Farm, Gentlemen are permitted to wear neat and tidy pants including jeans (without rips), chinos or untailored slacks.
Jackets and ties are optional but encouraged.
