James Tedesco and Maria Glinellis Soak Up Style and Flavour at the Winter Long Lunch at Rosehill Gardens

NRL icon James Tedesco and his wife, Maria Glinellis, were among the stylish attendees at Rosehill Gardens for the Australian Turf Club’s Winter Long Lunch, an event fast becoming a staple of Sydney’s cooler-season social calendar.

Held in the prestigious Winning Post Restaurant and exclusive Chairmans Lounge, the Winter Long Lunch is an immersive race day experience that fuses fine dining, exceptional views, and a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere. Tedesco, the Sydney Roosters captain, was clearly taken by the luxurious setting and unbeatable vantage point over the track.

“First impression is the view — you’re right on top of the racetrack here, in line with the winning post. You can’t get a better view,” he said during his visit.

Accompanied by wife Maria Glinellis, the couple soaked up the elegant surroundings, shared seasonal dishes crafted by the ATC’s award-winning culinary team, and enjoyed an afternoon of winter racing in style.

“The food is amazing. It’s a great place to come and relax with friends and family and enjoy the races,” Tedesco added.

The Winter Long Lunch runs through to 31 August and offers a luxurious five-hour experience, including a shared menu and the option to add a five-hour beverage package. With sweeping views of the finishing straight from the Level 2 restaurant, it’s the perfect blend of trackside energy and dining indulgence.

Whether you’re a racing enthusiast, foodie, or simply looking for an unforgettable day out, the Winter Long Lunch at Rosehill Gardens delivers on all fronts.

Tickets start from $145 for ATC members and $155 for non-members. To reserve your spot, visit the official Winter Long Lunch page.
