Rosehill Gardens turned pink on Saturday as Chandon Ladies Day launched the 2026 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival, blending elite racing, high fashion and fundraising for the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.

• The 2026 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival began in spectacular style with Chandon Ladies Day at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday 14 March, where world-class racing met high fashion and heartfelt philanthropy in a celebration of ‘all things pink’.
• There were 445 tickets sold for the extraordinary Pink Fashion Lunch, which focused on raising money for breast cancer awareness and Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation’s new Mental Health Initiative.
• Headlined by the Group 1 Coolmore Classic, the day blended elite Thoroughbred action with glamour and purpose, as Rosehill Gardens turned pink in support of the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.
• A longstanding highlight of the racing calendar, Chandon Ladies Day brought together racing enthusiasts, fashion lovers, and social tastemakers for an unforgettable day trackside.

Entertainment and Atmosphere

• At the heart of the day was the Pink Fashion Lunch, hosted in the Grand Pavilion from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, where fashion, fine dining, and philanthropy came together.
• The afternoon was hosted by esteemed Seven television presenter Amber Laidler. Celebrity stylist, Donny Galella, curated looks for the runway fashion show, while cancer survivor, Rhiannon Abshoff, delivered a powerful address sharing her personal journey.
• Guests were encouraged to wear a touch of pink and participated in a series of curated fundraising initiatives, including a raffle, live auction, and donation opportunities throughout the venue.
• Adding to the celebration, the first 500 ladies on course received a complimentary glass of Chandon Brut Rosé, redeemable at the heartbeat of the venue, the Chandon Social in the Old Betting Ring.

Style and Indulgence

• Fashion took centre stage as Fashion Stakes launched at Chandon Ladies Day, inviting racegoers to showcase their raceday style in the Best Dressed and Best Suited categories.
• Daily finalists stepped onto the runway for a live on-course heat from 3:00pm, with winners progressing toward the prestigious Fashion Stakes Grand Finale at Royal Randwick on The Championships Day 2.
• From millinery to modern tailoring, the competition celebrated originality, seasonal styling and confidence – all hallmarks of Autumn racing fashion.

On-Course Activations and Experiences

• The Chandon Social launched as the go-to social destination, home to Fashion Stakes, photo moments, curated food offerings, bars, and live entertainment. It was the heartbeat of the venue and a true hive of activity.
