TICKETS ARE ON SALE FOR WORLD-FAMOUS SYDNEY EVEREST SPRING CARNIVAL
June 3, 2022
General Admission tickets are now on sale for the 2022 Sydney Everest Carnival at Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens (17 September – 5 November) as the Australian Turf Club prepares to welcome back the biggest Sydney Spring Carnival since pre-covid 2019.
In what is shaping up to be a value-packed Carnival of epic proportions, General Admission tickets start from just $20, with savings of up to 42 per cent for racegoers who book before 31 July.
Tickets for the Carnival showpiece Everest Day on 15 October at Royal Randwick start from just $30, with prices less than 2019. Racegoers are encouraged to buy their tickets early to avoid missing out on what is expected to be a sell-out event.
The eight-week Sydney extravaganza promises to be an unmissable celebration of world-class racing, hospitality, style and entertainment with a live international artist performance as part of the famous “After The Last” concert series.
With a record $56 million in prizemoney, the Sydney Everest Carnival is headlined by the world’s richest turf race, the $15 million The TAB Everest at Royal Randwick, $8 million Golden Eagle at Rosehill Gardens and the new $2 million The Big Dance on Bentley Cup Day at Royal Randwick.
In addition to early bird savings for adults and groups, the ATC has launched new General Admission value bundles to celebrate the return of uncapped spring crowds:
- The “Spring Saver Pass” offers a General Admission ticket to all three Carnival days at Rosehill Gardens – Golden Rose Day (24 September), Golden Eagle Day (29 October) and Five Diamonds Ladies Day (5 November) – for just $69, saving 35 per cent on full price single day tickets.
- Racegoers who book a General Admission ticket to Fujitsu General George Main Stakes Day by 31 July will receive a bonus complimentary ticket to the inaugural Silver Eagle Day on 8 October at Royal Randwick.
- Children under 18 are free to all Carnival days and a family of four can attend from just $50.
This will be the first Spring Carnival where racegoers at Royal Randwick can enjoy the new $46 million state-of-the-art WINX Stand which adds further value to the General Admission raceday experience.
Award-winning hospitality is also available throughout the Carnival and selling fast. Group Executive Chef Gerry Maher, who was awarded “Chef of the Year” at the 2022 Restaurant & Catering, NSW Hospitality Awards, will lead his talented team to deliver superior hospitality across the eight-week Carnival.
Guests will be spoilt for choice with an array of casual to fine dining restaurants across both venues. At Royal Randwick the Conservatory in The Estate precinct returns as the venue of choice for best-in-class trackside entertaining.
The ATC has announced Everest Day hospitality is officially sold out and have created an online waitlist to gain first access to new hospitality experiences soon to be announced.
Australian Turf Club CEO Jamie Barkley welcomed the value-driven ticketing offers and the opportunity to grow attendances from all over Australia.
“The Sydney Everest Carnival is one of the most exciting and fastest growing events in Australia and a signature event on the NSW events calendar,’’ Mr Barkley said.
“Whether you are enjoying the superior facilities in General Admission, planning a lunch with family and friends, or hosting corporate clients in The Conservatory or one of our private suites, the Sydney Everest
