Racing returns to Rosehill Gardens this Saturday, 18 June with 111 acceptors across the nine-race card.

Patrons can bring their family and friends along for an affordable day at the track with the Club offering a ‘Three and Free’ ticketing bundle, where customers who buy three general admission tickets will receive the fourth for free. This ticketing offer is available for pre-purchase at ticketek.com.au.

Trackside, Chris Waller-trained Disgraceful has opened as the $4.80 TAB Fixed Odds favourite in the $85,000 Ranvet Handicap. Falling short on the last two occasions the four-year-old will be looking for his fourth win from 17 starts when he lines up on Saturday.

Stablemate Avonaco ($6.50 TAB Fixed Odds) will be on the quick back-up after his fifth place run at Royal Randwick on 11 June. The gelding will again start from the widest barrier this week over the 1350m.

Last start winner Grande Punto ($8.00 TAB Fixed Odds) for Allan Denham shares the third line of betting with Better Not Blue for Michelle Ritchie ($8.00 TAB Fixed Odds).

Better Not Blue will return to the track for the first time since attaining a laceration to the near-fore cannon during his run on 21 May at Rosehill Gardens.

Waller Racing also has the $4.20 TAB Fixed Odds favourite in the $85,000 McGrath Estate Agents Handicap. Invinzabeel will have his second run in six days after running fifth at Canterbury Park on Monday over a similar distance.

In what will be an open race, Kellyville Flyer from Jason Attard’s stable sits close on the TAB Fixed Odds market at $5.50. The last start winner was strong across the Heavy track over the 1500m.

Punters cannot separate Ammirata ($6.00 TAB Fixed Odds) for Joseph Pride and Ron Quinton’s Magical Stance ($6.00 TAB Fixed Odds) in the betting. Both are proven over the distance however Ammirata has proven slightly sounder on a Soft surface.

Beaten in a photo finish last start, Vassal for Chris Waller will also face the starter for the second time in a week. Contesting the $85,000 Hyland Race Colours Handicap, the gelding had three consecutive wins prior to his second placing at Royal Randwick last Saturday.

Competition will come from Santa Rocks ($4.40 TAB Fixed Odds) for Hawkes Racing in the 1800m test. The well-bred Fastnet Rock mare had a dominant 4.5 length win at Canterbury Park on 8 June and will again be partnered with James Innes Jr this run.

Adult general admission tickets are available for $15.00 at ticketek.com.au.

Gates Open at 10.30am with the first race at 11.25am.

Rosehill Gardens has free high-capacity WiFi across the racecourse precinct.
