We are delighted to welcome back Members, General Admission racegoers and hospitality bookers to Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens for Sydney Winter Racing through July and August 2020. Advanced booking recommended. Social distancing and bio-security measures in place throughout the day including temperature checks for patrons on arrival, and the practising of increased hygiene and safe social distancing according to NSW Government Health Orders. Can I attend Saturday race meetings?

In line with the NSW Public Health Order, Australian Turf Club venues are open to a limited number of patrons. All attendees must purchase hospitality or pre-register their attendance online.

ATC Members and Owners with a horse running may attend Saturday meetings in complimentary seating areas. Members and Owners must pre-register their attendance using the link sent in weekly email communications.

General Admission customers may purchase tickets to Winter racedays from the start of July. General Admission customers will have access to unreserved seating areas within the grandstands and outdoor seating areas to view the races.

All attendees must remain seated throughout the day, except for wagering, food and beverage purchases and restroom requirements or to visit equine areas including the raceday stalls and mounting yard. If leaving your seating area for one of the above reasons, we ask that you return to your seating area immediately after.

Can I attend mid-week race meetings?

Owners, Members and General Admission customers may attend mid-week meetings.

Attendance does not need to be registered.

Upon arrival at the racecourse, guests will be required to undergo temperature checks and scan a QR code to register their name and contact details as per the NSW Government Public Health Order Track & Trace Policy.

I've visited Victoria recently, can I attend racedays?

Any person that has travelled to or from Victoria after 24 June 2020 is not permitted to purchase tickets to or attend race meetings under current NSW Government advice regarding COVID-19 until they have completed a period of self-isolation for 14 days.

What social distancing and bio-security measures will be in place?

Strict social distancing restrictions will be in place.

Patrons will have their temperature checked on arrival using thermal imaging technology.

In line with the current NSW Health Order, all patrons, Members and guests attending the racecourse must register their name and contact details with the Club. This is to adhere to the Track & Trace Policy.

Patrons must remain seated at their table throughout the day except for food and beverage purchases, wagering, restroom requirements and visiting equine areas. Patrons may use outdoor seating to watch the races.

Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed at key guest and employee entrances and contact areas such as food and beverage outlets, function spaces and facilities (i.e. restrooms).

Signage will be displayed throughout the venue to inform and enforce health, good hygiene and physical distancing practices.

We ask that diners respect staff and any COVID-Safe guidelines in place on the day.

To reduce hand-to-hand contact, our racecourses will be operating cashless retail outlets.

Patron capacity for the venue is 50 patrons for each dining area along with the one person per 4 square metre rule.

Will I be temperature tested?

Yes, all patrons will have their temperature checked upon arrival using either hand held thermometers or thermal imaging camera technology. Find out more about the technology here.

What if I register a high temperature?

Any patrons exhibiting signs of fever will be quarantined and reviewed by a medical professional for further assessment prior to entry.

Am I able to move to other parts of the racecourse?

In line with NSW Public Health Orders, we ask all patrons to remain seated at their table at all times except for wagering, food and beverage purchases, restroom requirements or to visit equine areas including the mounting yard and raceday stalls.

If patrons visit the raceday stalls and mounting yard areas prior to a race, they must return to their seating area immediately after.

Patrons may use outdoor seating areas to watch the races.

Can I place a bet?

Limited TAB wagering facilities will be available on the day. Wagering facilities will accept cash with ATM facilities available on-course.

Bookmakers are not currently on-course.

Alternatively, you may place a bet using the TAB App on your phone.

Can I buy food and drinks?

Some of our hospitality packages are all inclusive of food and drink with all-day beverage package.

If your booking includes a drink on arrival and you wish to purchase further beverages, you may do so on the day.

For those in the seating-only areas, food and beverage will be available for purchase from retail service outlets. These will be operating cashless.

Patrons are not currently permitted to bring food and drinks on course.

While it is not a prerequisite to attend, we strongly encourage guests to download this app so that they can be contacted if necessary in the future.

I've purchased general admission tickets/hospitality to an upcoming raceday, what happens if the raceday is closed to patrons?

In the event that NSW Government restrictions change and patrons are no longer allowed to attend racedays, a full refund will be offered and processed via our ticketing agency, Moshtix.  For those with hospitality bookings a credit, transfer or refund will be offered.
