Vinery Stud Extends Longstanding Partnership with the Australian Turf Club

The Australian Turf Club is pleased to announce the extension of its longstanding partnership with one of the Hunter Valley’s most respected breeding operations, Vinery Stud, for a further three years.

This renewed partnership will see Vinery Stud continue its support of the prestigious Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes, held annually at Rosehill Gardens during the Sydney Autumn Carnival. The race has long been a key feature of the Carnival, attracting elite three-year-old fillies and serving as a pivotal lead-up to classic staying races.

Australian Turf Club Head of Racing and Wagering, Nevesh Ramdhani, welcomed the continued commitment from Vinery Stud.

“We are delighted to continue partnering with Vinery Stud, one of the world-class thoroughbred nurseries in the heart of the Hunter Valley,” Mr Ramdhani said.

“The Vinery Stud Stakes continues to be such an important race on the Australian racing calendar and is a highlight of our Rosehill Gardens Autumn program.”

Vinery Stud, home to an elite roster of stallions including dual Group 1 winner and current leading first season sire Ole Kirk, Group 1 champion All Too Hard, and dual Group-winning sprinter Hawaii Five Oh, remains deeply committed to supporting Australian racing and breeding.

Vinery Stud General Manager, Peter Orton, expressed the importance of Vinery Stud’s affiliation to the Vinery Stud Stakes.

Boom filly Treasurethe Moment trained by Matt Laurie and with last week’s TAB Golden Slipper winning jockey Damien Lane looms as the horse to beat in Saturday’s Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes.
