Unmissable Highlights On Five Diamonds Ladies Day
Get To Rosehill Gardens For The Final Day Of The Sydney Everest Carnival
November 10, 2023
We have reached the final meeting in the Sydney Everest Carnival – Five Diamonds Ladies Day.
Head to Rosehill Gardens this Saturday for a sophisticated finale to what has been a wonderful spring of world-class racing, fashion and entertainment.
Here are seven unmissable highlights you can immerse yourself in at Five Diamonds Ladies Day:
*SPARKLING TALENT – 4:50pm
The $2 million Five Diamonds (1800 metres) has attracted a capacity field that consists of Group 1 winners Converge, Hinged and the Five Diamonds Prelude winner in Palmetto. Queensland visitor Antino, for trainer Tony Gollan, is the early $2.90 TAB Fixed Odds favourite
*BABY BLING – 4:10pm
Watch the babies sizzle around the Rosehill Gardens course for the $1 million Inglis Golden Gift (1100 metres). Royal Randwick trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott have the $2.25 TAB Fixed Odds favourite in Shangri La Express, along with stablemate Betta Being Single ($12). Many trainers use the Inglis Golden Gift as a chance to secure a spot in the Golden Slipper since the prizemoney for first and second is lucrative.
*JAMES SQUIRE CELEBRATION HOUR – 12noon till 1pm
Available at all bars throughout Rosehill Gardens, patrons can enjoy a James Squire beer or cider for just $8 during Celebration Hour.
*REMEMBRANCE DAY – 2:15pm till 2:17pm
The Australian Turf Club will recognise Rememberance Day and pay respects for those to have lost their lives in combat. Reverand Collin Watts will conduct a prayer at 2:15pm which will be followed by a minute’s silence.
The ultimate fashion and beauty destination to ensure you feel your best all day long. Featuring fashion illustrators Stephanie Baynie and Alexandra Nea, complimentary hair and makeup touch-ups.
Catch the sights and sounds of the roving band from between 11am and 2pm
*LOADS OF FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS
Enjoy a drink at one of the many bars throughout Rosehill Gardens including Destination Chandon, Canadian Club Cart Australian Bar and NED Whisky Bar. Fancy something to munch on? Eats In The Garden will have Fried Chicken Wings and Caminito operating while you can also visit the various other outlets located in the general admission areas.
