Amanda Turner has been around and associated with horses since she was a child. Originally from New Zealand, Amanda worked as a foreperson for Laurie and Sheila Laxon for 5 years. In that period, she oversaw up to 100 horses at a time: working, riding, and travelling with horses such as Empire Rose, Riverina Charm and Romanee Conti. Upon taking up residency in Australia, Amanda worked for Brian Smith for 9 years where she was fortunate enough to work with Circles of Gold, among others. She soon after gained her own license and has now been setup at Warwick Farm for 15 years. Upon settling in her stable complex, Amanda completed renovation works to turn it into “The Horse Hotel” as the happiness and welfare of thoroughbreds always comes first. Amanda known as ‘Mandy’ has gained extensive knowledge and experience over the years and now has a small but successful team which enables her to treat each horse as the best in the stable and cater for their individual needs.
