Two Group 1 races will be the highlight of Mostyn Copper Group Randwick Guineas Day at Royal Randwick this Saturday, 10 March.

James Cummings-trained Kementari ($2.50 TAB Fixed Odds) lines up as the race favourite in the Group 1 $1million Mostyn Copper Group Randwick Guineas and will be looking to be the first horse since It’s A Dundeel (2013) to complete the three-year-old Triple Crown.

The Group 1 $500,000 Bisley Workwear Canterbury Stakes also features on the nine race card where Clearly Innocent, trained by Kris Lees is the $4.80 TAB Fixed Odds favourite in an open market.

The build-up to the world’s richest two-year-old race continues on Saturday with the running of the Group 2 $300,000 The Daily Telegraph Reisling Stakes (fillies) and the Group 2 $300,000 UNSW Todman Stakes (colts and geldings).

The winner of each will gain automatic entry to the Group 1 $3.5m Longines Golden Slipper on 24 March.

The Daily Telegraph Reisling Stakes has produced significant winners of upcoming two-year-old races with seven going forward to win the Golden Slipper, including 2017 victor, She Will Reign.

Similarly, the UNSW Todman Stakes is a strong form indicator for the Longines Golden Slipper with five winners going on to win the double, with the last being Vancouver in 2013.

Market odds for the full nine race card are available at TAB.com.au

Tipped as the best value on course, racegoers can pre-purchase the popular Punters Pack for $39 at theATC.com.au. The Punters Pack includes racecourse entry, two standard drinks, a food pack, a racebook and access to the Punters Pack area within the Octagonal Bar.

The Royal Randwick track was rated a Soft 6 this morning and the rail will be at the +3 metre position.

The first race is at 12.30pm and last race at 5.40pm. Gates open at 11.00am (10.45am ATC Members).

Free car parking is available at the racecourse and buses will run between Eddy Avenue at Central Station and Royal Randwick racecourse.
