13 October, 2025
Racing NSW today announced that the world’s richest race on turf, The TAB Everest, will be broadcast globally for the first time on sports streaming service DAZN, with coverage also airing on Fox Sports 1 in the United States.
A potential global audience of 560 million people across more than 200 countries and territories will be able to experience the excitement and spectacle of The TAB Everest live from Royal Randwick in Sydney.
DAZN is a rapidly expanding global sports streaming service broadcasting over 300 different sporting competitions annually. Fox Sports 1 is a leading broadcaster of live sports and sports programming in the United States.
Both DAZN and Fox Sports 1 will broadcast a bespoke 30-minute telecast, featuring a preview of the TAB Everest and the race itself.
Racing NSW Chief Executive Peter V’landys AM said the expanded international coverage reflects the growing global stature of The TAB Everest.
“The Everest has always sought to innovate racing and reach new audiences and this partnership with DAZN and Fox Sports allows us to do that on an unprecedented scale.
“We only need to get a fraction of the available audience to break all records for Australian racing,” Mr V’landys AM said.
The 2025 running of The TAB Everest will feature 12 of the world’s fastest sprinters competing for a total prize pool of $20 million, reaffirming its position as the richest race on turf.
Headlined by Ka Ying Rising from Hong Kong, the world’s highest rated sprinter, The TAB Everest will be run in front of a sell-out crowd at Sydney’s Royal Randwick Racecourse.
Foxtel Group CEO, Patrick Delany, said: “This partnership not only reinforces Foxtel Group’s commitment to bringing the world’s best sport to Australians but also showcases the global reach and ambition we now have by being part of DAZN.
“Coupled with our existing relationship with Fox Sports US, the world’s richest horse race on turf can now be seen by viewers in over 200 countries around the world, showing how the Foxtel Group is putting local sport in front of a global audience.”
