Sydney’s newest meetings and events venue now open at Royal Randwick

Sydney’s new world-class event centre, the sleek, $46.6 million WINX Stand is named after the pre-eminent racehorse, Winx. This once in a lifetime equine athlete, attracted thousands through the gates of Royal
Randwick.

Now more records are set to be broken as the WINX Stand will generate over $150 million annually to the New South Wales’ economy to show a way forward in the state’s post-COVID recovery. So, even since she retired in 2019, the legendary racehorse, Winx is still giving back.

A meetings and events centre to bring the world back to Sydney

The gleaming WINX Stand has been created to finesse launches, conferences and grand dinners. It’s the place to showcase products and fete clients in luxurious Australian style at this iconic destination. The countdown has already begun with a full roster of events booked in this year and into the next as everyone wants to utilise this imposing venue. Accessing the WINX Stand is easy with a link bridge from the multi-level carpark and the Queen Elizabeth II Stand.

It will be open to raceday guests on December 11 at The Agency Villiers Stakes Day.

This impressive building with its soaring lines has a remarkable capacity to cater to around of 1,144 for a cabaret style event – to 5,000 concert goers. Designed by Cox Architecture, it’s a vibrant meeting place over two levels with elegant light-filled areas that offer seamless indoor and outdoor flow to the glossy green Leger Lawn. includes a 10m x 5m modular LED super screen. It also boasts state-of-the-art connectivity including 80 screens plus LED systems, high impact LED cubes and IPTV technology throughout its precinct. There’s also

The WINX Stand is versatile. Around 1,800 guests may be feted for banquets on the ground floor with an
additional 400 per space on Level 1. A cocktail style event here could host around 4,000 guests and then there’s the spectacular open-air rooftop, adding to the experience.  The WINX Stand is the largest venue in Sydney to offer so many possibilities for award-winning hospitality.
