September 18, 2023
Private Eye secured his spot in the $20million TAB Everest on 14 October, however, there are still six slots remaining in the world’s richest race on turf.
Trained at Warwick Farm by Joe Pride, Private Eye was an impressive winner of the $1million Toyota Forklifts Shorts, catching the eye of several slotholders in the process.
Ultimately, it was Max Whitby who secured the services of Private Eye for the TAB Everest.
He now joins Mazu, I Wish I Win, Sunshine In Paris, defending champion Giga Kick and fellow Pride runner, Think About It.
The Group 2 $1million Premiere Stakes on TAB Epsom Day (30 September) will be the next key lead-up event where potential Everest horses will get the chance to impress slotholders yet to lock in their runners.
