FINAL FOUR RACES POSTPOSTED ON SILVER EAGLE DAY

The 10-race card on Silver Eagle Day at Royal Randwick had six races completed before the decision was made to postpone the remaining races due to continuing rainfall and the state of the track.

The following changes have been made with the scheduling of the remaining races:

• The Group 3 New TAB App Gloaming Stakes will be added to Wednesday’s Warwick Farm race meeting and run at a distance of 1600m. Scratchings will be reinstated.
• The $1 million Silver Eagle will be added to Everest Day (15 October) at Royal Randwick
• The Group 3 Furphy Angst Stakes will be added to Everest Day (15 October) at Royal Randwick
• The Benchmark 78 over 1200m and Benchmark 78 over 1400m races will be removed from the Everest Day program on Saturday 15 October 2022.Nominations for the five benchmark races scheduled for Warwick Farm on Wednesday 12 October 2022 have been re-opened for new nominations and will close at 8am on Monday 10 October 2022.

  Acceptances for that meeting will be closed at 9am on Monday 10 October 2022.
