Seven Unmissable Highlights on Schweppes All Aged Stakes Day

The curtain comes down on another successful Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival at Royal Randwick on Saturday for Schweppes All Aged Stakes Day on 15 April.

The day features two Group 1 races in the $1.5 million Schweppes All Aged Stakes and $600,000 Moët & Chandon Champagne Stakes both being run for the 160th time, plus a performance by Furnace and the Fundamentals.

Gates open at 10.15am and race 1 at 11.35am with public transport included in the purchase of your ticket. Tickets $30. 

Here are 7 highlights not to miss:

1. Glam up in the Pamper Pavilion

Check out The Pamper Pavilion, a brand-new uniquely curated space exclusive to Royal Randwick racedays this carnival to ensure you look and feel your best all day long. From complimentary hair and makeup touch ups, photo moments, fashion illustrators, entertainment, and beverages, this is the destination for all your raceday essentials. 2. Check out the world-class WINX Stand

The impressive WINX Stand named after the legendary mare is open to all racegoers to enjoy.  The ground floor will feature DJ and food outlets which opens up on to the Leger lawn to get close to the racing action. Upstairs in The Gallery North Room will feature a sports bar with bespoke food offering. While The Gallery South has DJs with cocktails and tapas. The open terrace is also home to the Happy Clapper Bar which has one of the best views on track. Watch here. 

 

3. Experience the TAB Dome

Step inside the future of betting at the TAB Dome, get the inside scoop about the new TAB app and the powerful tools and features it provides. A purpose-built APP LAB has been designed to place bets and watch the days races. Head to the TAB Dome to experience racing like never before.

4.  Moët & Chandon Champagne Stakes – 3.10pm

The 160th running of the Group 1 for two-year-olds will see champion trainer Chris Waller look to complete a trainer triple crown having won the Longines Golden Slipper and Inglis Sires’. He saddles up Militarize as favourite to be ridden by Joao Moreira.

5. $1.5 million Schweppes All Aged Stakes – 3.50pm

A crack field lines up in the race over 1400 metres now worth $1.5 million in prizemoney. TAB Everest winner Giga Kick is the one to beat but the races sees the return of Zaaki for Annabel Neasham. Cascadian won the race last year and will go around again for Godolphin.

6. Indulge in raceday fare
