Ahead of the pinnacle day of Longines Golden Slipper Carnival, here’s an insiders guide on how to make the most of Longines Golden Slipper Day. Gates open at 10.00am for members and 10.30am for everyone else.
BEAT THE QUEUES
While there is plenty of free parking at Rosehill Gardens, keep in mind that bus travel on routes 535 and M92 from Parramatta Station is covered by your ticket.

The Moët & Chandon Gold Room serves some of the finest (and most instagram worthy) delicacies on course and offers incredible head-on race views – reserve your place here.
General Admission guests will also enjoy a sensory sensation when grabbing a bite from Eats at the Gardens located in the Old Betting Ring, with tasty treats from Philly Cheese Steaks, Gozleme and Mexican.

Longines Golden Slipper Day is all about the racing. Headlining the day is the 66th running of the richest race for two-year-olds, the $5 million Longines Golden Slipper. It’s also Australia’s biggest day of Group 1 racing (the most prestigious class of racing), with an astonishing FIVE Group 1 races. Here’s where to watch the horses on a raceday (we recommend a visit to the evocative day stalls). If you are watching from afar we’re on Channel 7 (under the watchful eye of broadcasting doyen Bruce Mcavaney) and Sky Racing. Study the form on our downloadable racebook.
