When you think about it, Royal Randwick’s Bentley Cup Day celebrations provide one of the best views anywhere of the race that stops the nation. Watch it live on the largest super-screen in the southern hemisphere, and those thoroughbreds will be 11 metres tall.

Royal Randwick has a live racing programme as well as the Melbourne action on the big screen. So effectively, you’re in two places at once! Due to current Covid-19 restrictions patrons currently must be seated and will need to remain being seated when consuming alcohol. However, at Royal Randwick patrons are allowed to stand whilst watching races but then must return to their seats after each race has concluded.

You’re guaranteed a table and seat!

There’s nothing worse than arriving at the races and you can’t score yourself a table! Due to Covid regulations, each ticket includes a designated seat with a specified ticketed area, which means there is absolutely no way you will be without a table. However, you still will need to get in early for the best spot, especially if you want views of the iconic track. Each ticketed area offers full amenities, including wagering facilities, toilets, sophisticated pop-up bars and convenient food stalls – so no matter where you are, you won’t miss out on all the perks. Guests’ movement to other ticket zones will be restricted but as long as you walk with purpose you can enjoy the Theatre of the Horse and day-stalls!
