The Australian Turf Club (ATC) is pleased to announce that ARIA award-winning artist Samantha Jade will perform at the inaugural Pink Fashion Lunch supporting the McGrath Foundation on Chandon Ladies Day – the opening day of the 2020 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival, on Saturday 14 March at Rosehill Gardens.

With a career spanning over a decade both in Australia and overseas, the multi-talented Samantha Jade has been a regular fixture on Australian television, staring as Kylie Minogue in the Channel 7 TV mini-series The INXS Story, guest-starring in Home & Away, and taking out first place in Australia’s The X Factor in 2012.

The Pink Fashion Lunch will see the pop princess add a splash of pink to her outfit to perform her most recent hit ‘Bounce’, as well as upbeat tracks including ‘We are Family’ and ‘What You’ve Done to Me’.

A vibrant fashion runway production, which will showcase the latest trends in Autumn racewear, will also take place at the Pink Fashion Lunch.

“Racewear fashion has always been such a huge interest of mine, so I am very excited to be performing some of my favourite tracks alongside a parade of luxury trackside fashion at the first ever Pink Fashion Lunch,” said Ms Jade.

“Not only that, I’m delighted to be supporting ATC’s partnership with the McGrath Foundation. Having been personally affected by cancer within my family, this is a partnership I feel passionate about.”

Corina Black, ATC Executive General Manager of Commercial, is delighted to bring homegrown talent to Western Sydney in support of the McGrath Foundation.

“The Australian Turf Club is pleased to be welcoming Samantha Jade to Rosehill Gardens, where she will entertain our guests at the Pink Fashion Lunch in support of the McGrath Foundation.

“It’s going to be a wonderful day which will see the entire racecourse turn into a sea of pink, so we encourage all racegoers to wear a splash of pink and really get behind Sydney’s first Pink Raceday.

“Each year, we continue to build on our music and lifestyle portfolio and Samantha Jade is a true testament of the calibre of talent we continue to present against an unrivalled backdrop of world-class racing and thrilling carnival atmosphere,” said Black.

The ATC’s inaugural Pink Fashion Lunch will be the feature social and fashion event on Chandon Ladies Day. The ticketed luncheon will include a specially curated three-course menu designed by Autumn Racing Carnival chef partner, Colin Fassnidge, premium beverages including Chandon Brut Rosé, as well as a special soon-to-be-announced guest speaker plus live fundraising activities held by the McGrath Foundation.

All funds raised on the day will go towards funding McGrath Breast Care Nurses, who support people with breast cancer and their families by providing invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support, from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

All attendees at Chandon Ladies Day are encouraged to incorporate a splash of pink into their racewear look to support the cause and raise awareness.

Pink Fashion Lunch tickets are $225 for ATC members and $245 for non-members.
