ABOUT THE ROYAL RANDWICK EVENT SHOWCASE

Royal Randwick’s 2025 Venue Showcase on Thursday 10 April welcomed leading PCOs and event planners to explore the venue’s most versatile spaces through an immersive progressive soirée.
The journey began in newly redesigned Tote House (presented by Peroni), re‑imagined as a fresh yet relaxed coastal haven serving cocktails. Guests were treated to a unique twist on the typical roving canapes you’d see at other events, toasted rye, whipped vegemite butter, topped with parmesan snow, waffle cones filled with tuna tartar and coconut foam, and a pork knuckle inspired mini knuckle sandwich were on the menu.

Guests then gathered in The Riders Club for a rapid‑fire panel where John Green (AHA), Ashleigh Moore (LinkedIn) and Rohan Sawyer (Bastion Experience) shared fresh insights on hospitality, marketing and experiential design. Food included a Mini Tacoria station, and Live Pasta Bar serving a variety of pasta from an aged parmesan wheel.
A sunset interlude in the Whispering Angel Garden, complete with chilled rosé offered a pause for networking before moving along the garden guests noticed their names in lights, with each attendee’s name displayed along the trackside LED’s for a unique and personal photo moment.

Not to be missed was the grand finale at The Peacock Lounge. There, a flame‑throwing bartender delivered theatrical pours while Executive Chef Craig Knudsen built and dramatically shattered a dessert masterpiece, proving that catering can be entertainment. Supported by our showcase partners, the event highlighted Royal Randwick’s capability for seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences across conferences, gala dinners, Christmas and end of year celebrations, incentive days and everything in between for discerning organisers worldwide.
