A day at Royal Randwick is an experience like no other, especially as the Summer Festival of Racing rolls on with The Ingham Day.
One of the season’s key mile handicaps, The Ingham (registered as the Villiers Stakes) is a Group 2 contest with a rich history dating back to 1892. Run over 1600m, the race has long been a proving ground for quality performers, with notable winners including Bernborough (1945) and Happy Clapper (2015), and remains an important lead‑in to the Doncaster Mile.
Set against the prestige and heritage of Royal Randwick, the day combines top-class racing with a vibrant Summer atmosphere.
From stylish bars to premium dining packages including the Summer Long Lunch and open trackside spaces, there are plenty of ways to take in the action.
Located just minutes from the Sydney CBD, Royal Randwick is easy to access with public transport and free parking available.
With the Winx Stand open to all racegoers, it is the perfect setting to gather with friends, entertain or enjoy a standout day of racing.
General Admission tickets will be on sale soon, watch this space. Discounted concession and pensioner tickets are available at the gate.
