A long‑standing highlight of the Summer racing calendar, the Festival Stakes is a quality handicap contested over 1500m, known for producing standout performances and rising contenders on the path to the Villiers Stakes. With a rich history and notable winners including Private Eye (2024), I’m Imposing (2014) and This Manshood (2002, 2003), it remains one of the season’s most compelling contests.
Set against the lively backdrop of Rosehill Gardens, the day combines thrilling racing with an energetic, social atmosphere. From the trackside lawns to bars, restaurants and hospitality spaces, you are never far from the action.
Located just minutes from Parramatta, Rosehill Gardens is easy to access by public transport and offers plenty of free parking. Whether you are following the form or enjoying a day out with friends, Festival Stakes Day delivers racing with colour, energy and excitement.
General Admission tickets will be on sale soon, watch this space. Discounted concession and pensioner tickets are available at the gate.
