Introduction

The Australian Turf Club are thrilled to welcome our Members back to the track from this Saturday, 13 June at Rosehill Gardens. Members have the opportunity to purchase raceday dining, or pre-register their attendance. Members, please check your email for further information and to reserve your place.

We are delighted to announce that all owners who have an accepted runner for 13 June at Rosehill Gardens will be invited on course to watch their horse race. Dining options will also be available for those owners who wish to spend the whole day at a raceday dining restaurant. All owners must pre-book to be allowed on course.

For all others, we share with you a guide on how to celebrate a raceday at home below. Alternatively you can enjoy the races or continue your raceday celebrations after the last race at Rosehill Bowling Club, open to the public now.

Celebrate Racing at Home

How to watch the races

Don’t miss a minute of the racing action broadcast live and free on Channel 7 from 12.00pm AEST.

You can also view the live action on Sky Racing 1 through Foxtel – simply switch to Channel 526, or you can tune in via the TAB App.

What to wear

Enjoying a raceday at home is the perfect excuse to get out of your lounge-wear and get your glam on, while you dress up to celebrate the occasion.

Whether it’s flamboyant millinery, your finest suit or elegant dress, don’t be afraid to dress up and stay in for a day in front of the races.

And of course, don’t forget to share your raceday look with us on social media with #FunOffTrack.

What to eat

Rosehill Gardens is famed for its award-winning catering. There are plenty of culinary delights to inspire your raceday menu. Why not pick up a few dozen oysters from your local fishmongers which will go perfectly with your bubbles?

Put together an easy charcuterie board that showcases one or two small dishes. Choose a few main appetizers to prepare before the party, and fill in the rest of the spread with snack foods like nuts, vegetables, crackers and dips.

What to drink

For sparkling, Chandon and Chandon Brut Rosé are the best in bubbles.

When it comes to beer, Iron Jack is the official beer of Rosehill Gardens, so the thirst crushing refreshment of Iron Jack should be the beer of choice at your raceday celebrations from home.

Or, why not try mixing your very own cocktail to celebrate the occasion..

What to do between races

Run a virtual sweepstake with your friends; you can split the prizemoney for first, second, third and last, or the winner can take it all.

Alternatively, jump on Zoom and hold your very own horse auction, where each horse in the race is auctioned off. The favourite will go for a higher price than the longshot. Use the auction money as a pool, where the winner takes all.

Staying Social

Follow us on instafacebook and twitter (which is more for racing purists).

Be sure to post your photos of you celebrating the races from home to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter tagging @atc_races with #FunOffTrack.

So let’s all stay safe, stay social and stay tuned to the world’s best racing action live on TV – together at home!
