Get your fun back on track for Golden Eagle Day at Rosehill Gardens.
Sydney’s West hosts its pinnacle Spring race, The Iron Jack Golden Eagle; a 1500m race for four-year-olds and Australia’s third richest race. There is $7.5m in prize money to be won with $750,000 donated to the winning owners’ charities of choice. Many trainers believe that a horse peaks at four-years old. This one matters.
Off-the-track, pop-up bars, food trucks, the Spring Style Stakes fashion competition, a Fabric of Multicultural Australia (FOMA) fashion runway show, a national anthem performance by Erin Holland and award-winning hospitality complements a full day of competitive racing. Guests can also watch the action from Flemington’s Derby Day unfold on large screens around the racecourse.
To be Covid Safe, your raceday experience will be a little different this Spring. Each ticket includes a designated seat within a specified ticketed area that offers race viewing and full amenities including wagering facilities, food concessions, bars and toilets. Guests’ movement to other ticket zones will be restricted.
Familiarise yourself below with the procedures in play for this Carnival, it will help you make the most of your day on track.
