To mark the start of a spectacular six-week Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival, the Australian Turf Club welcomes the return of the Pink Fashion Lunch supporting the McGrath Foundation on Sydney’s official ‘pink’ raceday – Chandon Ladies Day, Saturday 12 March at Rosehill Gardens.

The best of Western Sydney’s fashion and social scene comes together in the Grand Pavilion to enjoy a bespoke three-course luncheon curated by Autumn Carnival Culinary Ambassador Dany Karam of The Star’s BLACK Bar and Grill, paired with Chandon Brut Rosé and a spectacular live performance from ARIA award-winning artist Paulini. The star of The Bodyguard stage musical will include a medley honouring her musical idols including Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin as well as modern hits.

Hosted by Renee Gartner, an array of raffle items including a stunning $9,800 Cerrone designed diamond necklace featuring a 9.22ct cushion shape kunzite in four claw setting, a Longines timepiece, The Dyson Corrale™ Straightener, bespoke pink headwear designed by Ford Millinery, an Inglis Spa and Accommodation Package and a Chandon Wine Makers Gift Pack will raise funds for the McGrath Foundation for a third successive year.

An afternoon of world-class racing, hospitality, fashion and entertainment on the opening day of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival, the Pink Fashion Lunch will feature a Runway Room beauty station, gifting, fashion moment and an interview with multiple Group 1 winning trainer Annabel Neasham, exploring her success competing against world-leading stables as a young female in the thoroughbred racing industry.

Star perfomer Paulini said: “I’m excited to be performing at the Pink Fashion Lunch supporting the McGrath Foundation on Chandon Ladies Day and will be wearing a touch of pink in honour of the day.’’

Australian Turf Club Executive General Manager of Commercial  Melinda Madigan is delighted to have secured Paulini for the Pink Fashion Lunch event as Chandon Ladies Day continues to grow as one of the most anticipated events in Autumn.

“Chandon Ladies Day featuring the Pink Fashion Lunch in support of the McGrath Foundation brings together the ultimate celebration of fashion, hospitality and entertainment against a backdrop of Sydney’s world-class carnival racing. The lunch will be overflowing with style, celebration, entertainment and celebrity. From the moment you arrive on the pink carpet, it’s an occasion where incredible memories and stories will be shared and definitely one not to be missed,’’ Ms Madigan said.

“We are most thankful to our wonderful supporting partners and can’t wait to sing and dance with Paulini and celebrate special life stories with our feature guests on stage while enjoying the culinary delights of BLACK Bar & Grill’s Dany Karam in the Grand Pavilion at Rosehill Gardens.”

All funds raised at the Pink Fashion Lunch will go towards McGrath Breast Care Nurses, who support people with breast cancer and their families by providing invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support, from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Racegoers will be encouraged to add a touch of pink to their raceday outfit on Chandon Ladies Day.
