The Australian Turf Club (ATC) is proud to unveil Sydney fashion and lifestyle personality, Phoebe Burgess, as the 2020 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival Ambassador.

Having grown up in the countryside, Phoebe has a lifelong love of horses and riding, which makes her the perfect fit for the esteemed role considering her extensive fashion credentials that has seen her build a significant following online, influencing people from far and wide.

Boasting a natural eye for style, deep understanding and intimate knowledge of the Australian fashion landscape, Phoebe’s experience includes seven years reporting on fashion and entertainment across popular print and online publications, covering the latest tips, tricks and trends making her the obvious choice to help promote the glitz and glamour that is trackside across the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

As part of her official ambassador role, Phoebe will support the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival by attending several feature events and race days across the six-week Carnival, including the Pink Fashion Lunch supporting the McGrath Foundation on Chandon Ladies Day at Rosehill Gardens, Saturday 14 March, where all racegoers are encouraged to wear a touch of pink.

Phoebe will also join an esteemed Fashion Chute judging panel on Chandon Ladies Day and Day 1 of The Star Championships at Royal Randwick on Saturday 4 April, to help find a winner for the popular Fashion Chute competition.

“Growing up on a farm I was always surrounded by horses, so to be able to combine my love for horses and fashion through my role as the official Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival Ambassador is a dream come true.

“I thoroughly enjoy a day at the races – from curating my racewear look, to people watching and taking in all of the fabulous world-class fashion; the track is always bustling with excitement from start to finish. And who doesn’t love watching elite horses parade and race not to mention the, stellar entertainment and hospitality all in one place. I love it.”
