Legendary Australian dance duo Peking Duk have been confirmed as the headline act at the ”After the Last” show in the Theatre of The Horse on Everest Day, 15 October at Royal Randwick. The ARIA-winning Canberra natives will perform double and triple platinum hits ‘Take Me Over’ and ‘High’ amongst their catalogue of hits.
The announcement completes a stellar music line-up for Sydney Everest Carnival which has already included memorable performances from Sneaky Sound System and Queen Forever with Furnace And The Fundamentals (8 October), Miami Horror (22 October) and Rudimental (29 October and 1 November) still to perform at Sydney’s spring racing eight-week showpiece.
“There’s nothing we love more than playing in our hometown of Sydney live and we are back,” Peking Duk’s Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles told The Daily Telegraph.
“Everest is going to be full of good times and great tunes and it will be so good to see everyone in the crowd up and dancing after a big day.”
“Come down, sing along and celebrate the return of live music with us after what has been an incredibly tough few years for the industry.”
“We will be playing all our classics, favourite tunes and some new ones that no one has heard yet.”
