Iconic champagne Moët & Chandon joins the Australian Turf Club at Royal Randwick this Saturday as part of a special celebration across the world, beginning six consecutive Saturdays of offers for customers.

Moët & Chandon Grand Day at Royal Randwick sees friends and guests of the Champagne House raise their glasses in a worldwide toast.

The Australian Turf Club’s official champagne will be on offer at a special price for general admission customers and ATC Members from Saturday and throughout June and July at Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens.

All guests who dine in the Grandview Room at Royal Randwick or Winning Post Restaurant at Rosehill Gardens on Saturdays through to the end of July receive a complimentary Bottle of Moët & Chandon Imperial for their group to enjoy on the day.

Bottles of Moët & Chandon Imperial sold in Members and General Admission across these race days will be available for $99.

Moët & Chandon Brand Manager, Charlotte Guingo, comments on the partnership,  “We are thrilled to celebrate Moët & Chandon Grand Day with the Australian Turf Club. This year, the Moët & Chandon Grand Day, an annual rendez-vous debuted in 2016, will continue its festive tradition celebrating the epic journey of Moët Impérial which, from the world’s podiums to Hollywood’s red carpet, has marked personal & public milestones launching global celebratory traditions for 150 years.”

Saturday’s nine-race card includes the $125,000 Moët & Chandon Imperial Winter Dash, with wet track specialist Jungle Edge the early $4 TAB favourite for visiting Victorian trainer Mick Bell and apprentice Lucinda Doodt.

Jungle Edge has had 43 starts on Soft or Heavy ground for 16 wins and a further 12 placings.

Royal Randwick was rated a Heavy 8 on Thursday with the forecast of more rain ahead of Saturday. A full track report with Royal Randwick Track Manager Nevesh Ramdhani is here:
