Heritage Display & Morning Tea
De Bortoli Wines Golden Rose Day
Saturday, 28 September
The Australian Turf Club is delighted to invite our Members to an exclusive complimentary morning tea celebrating the launch of the Everest Carnival heritage display ‘The Golden Group’.
The new Golden Eagle continues the tradition of naming races with a ‘golden’ theme. From the Golden Slipper in the autumn, through to the Golden Pendant in spring, ATC Heritage have looked into the history of these races.
Highlighting stories of success and connections with the ‘Golden Group’ of races, the display includes an early Slipper trophy and the famous Cummings colours.
ATC Archivist Hannah Hibbert will be providing insight into this display on Saturday, 28 September and sharing some of her other favourite racing stories from the ATC Heritage Collection.
Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival, light refreshments served during the evening and the bar will be available to purchase drinks.
