Eight Unmissable Highlights On Kia Golden Rose Day

Here are eight highlights not to miss on Kia Golden Rose Day. Gates open at 10:45am for Members and 11am for all other guests. The opening race is set to jump at 11:50am with the final event timed to go at 5:15pm.
1. JAMES SQUIRE GOLDEN EAGLE TROPHY OPPORTUNITY
Grab the opportunity to have your photo taken with the exquisite James Squire Golden Eagle trophy behind the Members Stand.
2. KIA CAR ACTIVATION DISPLAY
Come and check out the latest innovation in Kia’s automotive development – the Kia EV6 GT! Located by behind the JR Fleming Stand.
3. EATS AT THE GARDEN
Enjoy slow cooked meats in hot pita bread at the Greek Street Food van, Italian-style cooking from Caminito and the James Squire Bar along with a number of other bespoke offerings located in the Members and General Public area. Click here to view all options!
4. KIA GOLDEN ROSE – set to jump at 4pm
Some of Australia’s finest three-year-olds will do battle over 1400 metres for the prized Group 1 feature. It’s a good horse’s race and been won by some sensational thoroughbred talent including Bivouac (2019), The Autumn Sun (2018), Trapeze Artist (2017), Zoustar (2013) and last year’s winner, Jacquinot.
5. GROUP RACING
Along with the $1million Group 1 Kia Golden Rose, there’s a stack of quality racing on the track to enjoy. The $300,000 Group 2 NED Whisky Shannon Stakes is set to be a competitive affair as is the $250,000 Group 2 James Squire Colin Stephen Quality – a vital lead-up race to the James Squire Metropolitan on Saturday week (TAB Epsom Day).
6. DRINKS
The options and variety for ATC Members and the General Public are plentiful. The carnival atmosphere ramps up with the NED Australian Whisky Bar, Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar and Canadian Club Cart all in operation on Kia Golden Rose Day.
7. PAMPER LOUNGE

8. ROSEHILL BOWLING CLUB
