Racing under lights, street food, kids entertainment and the Canterbury Park vibe you love returns in November 2026.

The Home Of Night Racing In Sydney

Kia Friday Night Racing has now wrapped for the 2025/26 season, and what a Summer it was.

Canterbury Park once again delivered free General Admission entry, racing under lights and long, lively evenings shared with family and friends. Guests enjoyed free family entertainment, up to 30 delicious food stalls, live music, pop-up bars and the buzzing atmosphere that makes Friday nights in Sydney’s inner west so special.

The season was brought to life with themed meetings including Love Your Local Night, Festive Night, New Year’s Day, Back to School, Date Night and a sparkling Lunar New Year, each adding its own unique atmosphere trackside.

The Canterbury Social, our exclusive trackside beer garden, remained a favourite all season, offering the perfect spot to unwind with friends, grab a drink and soak up the electric, close‑to‑the‑action racing experience.

Free infield parking via King Street (Gate D, opposite Frederick Street) made it easy to arrive, relax and enjoy everything the night had to offer.

Kia Friday Night Racing will take a short break now and return in November 2026 with a refreshed program of entertainment, themed nights and Summer racing under the stars. Until then, explore the season highlights below for a taste of what’s to come.
