Inspiring The Next Generation of Racing Fans
The Junior and Apprentice Club is a unique way for young racing enthusiasts to experience the excitement, tradition and community of Sydney racing.
Designed for children aged 0–17, this program offers exclusive access, personalised welcome packs, and invitations to family-friendly events throughout the year.
With a Junior or Apprentice Pass, your child will be introduced to the heart of Australian racing – and upon turning 18, they’ll have the opportunity to become a full Member of the Australian Turf Club, with the joining fee waived.
Please note:
Persons under the age of 18 years of age are not permitted entry to the racecourse unless accompanied by:
• A parent, step-parent or legal guardian of the minor
• A person who is, for the time being, in loco parentis to the minor. This person must be 25 years of age or older and be able to verify to the satisfaction of the ATC their relationship to the minor
The term ‘Loco Parentis’ describes a relationship similar to that of a parent to a child; specifically it refers to an individual who assumes parental status and responsibilities for another individual, usually a young person, without formally adopting that person.
Parents must have a valid entry ticket, or be a Member of the ATC to permit access to the racecourse. For access to the Members Reserve, parents must be a Member of the ATC.
