Kia Friday Night Racing Season at Canterbury is back with a bang starting this Friday, 15 November featuring free kids entertainment, the iconic Canterbury Foodies & Farmers Market, pop-up bars and a stellar eight race program.
With free racecourse entry for all patrons across the entire three-month summer carnival, Friday nights have never looked better or more economical for those in Sydney’s inner west.
To celebrate the launch this Friday, families can enjoy free entertainment in the Wiggles Entertainment Zone including Dorothy & Wags, Sipper Cup Craft, pony rides, jumping castle and face painting, while racing fans have the chance to meet and have their photo taken with Champion Jockey Tommy Berry between 7.30-7.45pm at the trackside stage.
The famous Canterbury Foodies & Farmers Market returns once again featuring a plethora of mouth-watering international street food options including Italian favourite Belissimo wood fired oven pizza, Burgerhead, Dapto Hot Dogs, Yim Siam Thai Food, Toasted Knafeh, Triple Tea Popcorn Chicken and Damaskos Souvlaki – just to name a few. Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in Chu Chu Churros, Mr Puff Donuts, Fluffy Crunch and Dolce Baccio gelato among many others.
The Smokehouse and Iron Jack Bar will offer BBQ and slow cooked meats with fragrant herbs and spices from locally sourced suppliers with ice cold beverages, while the littlies can enjoy the Schweppes Slurpalicious Frozen Slurpies.

Gates open at Canterbury Park at 5.15pm ahead of Race 1 which is scheduled for 6.15pm.
