FREE FAMILY FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT AT ROYAL RANDWICK CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL, FEATURING PERFORMANCE BY ISAIAH FIREBRACE

The Australian Turf Club (ATC) will host a spectacular free twilight event, the annual Royal Randwick Christmas Festival on Friday 2 December as families and social racegoers swing into the festive spirit.
With free entry for all racegoers, the family trackside entertainment will include a grand entry in a horse and carriage by Santa Claus and friends including Cathy McEvoy, wife of champion jockey Kerrin McEvoy and their children along the famous Royal Randwick home straight.
Families can have free photos taken with Santa and friends including the Elves, Gingerbread Man, Frosty the Snowman, and Rudolph the Reindeer in Santa’s Grotto in the WINX Stand.
The twilight event also includes live entertainment and a host of family friendly activities on Royal Randwick’s trackside lawn including petting zoo and pony rides, amusement rides, jumping castle, and performances by ARIA nominated Australian Indie-kindie band Tiptoe Giants and C5 Dance Studio.
The festival finale will be an exciting Christmas Carols concert by 2016 The X Factor Australia winner, Isaiah Firebrace immediately after the last race.
Gates open at 1.30pm with the seven-race card program featuring Sydney’s best jockeys and stables to commence at 3.20pm and conclude at 7pm, followed by the trackside Carols concert.

The horse racing action continues this weekend at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday 3 December, featuring a ten-race card program from 12.20pm and a special visit from Santa as thousands of racegoers and hospitality guests celebrate the festive season trackside.
