Five Questions With Clementine McVeigh

April 8, 2022

Ahead of The Championships Day 2, Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day, we caught up with the Longines Prize For Elegance Ambassador, model and working mum Clementine McVeigh to find out a bit more about her and most importantly what she will be looking for when judging our Longines Prize For Elegance Fashion Competition.

1. What is your earliest or favourite memory of horse racing?

My Nanna always went to the races, so I loved watching her get dressed up.

2. What does a day in the life of clementine McVeigh entail?

Mum life…Cooking, cleaning, washing LOL then juggling work life on top of that.

3. How did you end up where you are in your career and what’s your favourite thing about it?

I started modelling 24 years ago, I travelled the world and ended up making Sydney my home. I love my job because every day/ every job is different, so it never gets boring. I also love working with all the creative people behind the shoots and events.

4. what will you be looking for as a prize for elegance judge?

Elegance, confidence, sophistication & a sense of their own style.

5. Tell us about your role as Longines Prize for Elegance Ambassador?

I feel very honoured to be the Longines Prize for Elegance Ambassador. Longines is such a beautiful and elegant brand. I’m so excited to be judging all the entrants on Saturday as I love fashion. I love seeing people express themselves through their outfits, and the races definitely give people the confidence to step outside their box.
