How do I lodge any feedback?

When do gates open?
Gates for General Admission usually open an hour before the first race. However, these are subject to change. Closer to your raceday, we recommend you check your event on Raceday Calendar.
What times are the first and last race? What time do people generally leave or go home?
- Race times vary for each race, head to our Raceday Calendar for more information on race times.
Public Bars and on course entertainment conclude at the same time as the last race, patrons are then encouraged to leave the course.
The ATC Members Stables Bar at Royal Randwick has an extended license.
Can I reserve a seat in General Admission areas?
No, you cannot reserve seating in the General Admission area. Arriving early on a race day will increase your chances of securing a seat/table.

I booked a hospitality package for a raceday, what time does it start?
Please check your booking confirmation or contact your ATC Event Manager for more details regarding your hospitality (Premium Dining Experiences) booking.
Do you hire out your spaces for events such as formals, receptions, functions etc.?

Can I reserve a parking spot?
There is free, unreserved car parking at all ATC venues.
For allocated or premium Member parking options close to our venues, Members have the option to purchase car parking passes. Find out more information here.
I’m driving in a mini bus, where can I park?
Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens:
Mini buses are allowed to park in the infield car park on all race days. Only vehicles under 3.4m in height can access this space, anything above cannot be accommodated for.
Canterbury Park:
Free unreserved parking is available for mini buses and is located just inside the track entrance off King Street.
Warwick Farm:
Mini buses can access parking via Gate C, off Hume Highway.
I drive a hire car and I’m picking someone up, where do I go?
Royal Randwick: Drop-off via Ascot Street entrance and collection only via Alison Road AFTER 3.00pm
Rosehill Gardens: Gate 1, Grand Avenue entrance
Canterbury Park: King Street entrance
Warwick Farm: Hire car collection via Governor Macquarie Drive. No layover available.
I want to organise a helicopter. What do I need to do?
When arranging a helicopter for the races contact the helicopter charter company first and then have them contact the ‘General Manager – Operations’ for the ‘Helicopter Landing Form’ and approval.

Lost property – who do I contact?
For lost property enquiries please fill out details of your lost item in the Lost & Found form.
What time does your loading dock and office close? Is there somewhere else after hours?
Our loading docks close at 4.00pm Mon-Fri. There is no after-hours delivery available without prior arrangement being made with your ATC representative.
Can I buy General Admission tickets on the day?
Yes but all tickets must be booked online prior. Click here.
Do you have pension or concession discounts for tickets?
Yes, discounted tickets for valid pension or concession card holders can only be purchased at the gate on race day.
Do children require a ticket?
Under 18s can attend for free if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Wristbands available on arrival.
Can I set up a bar tab?
No, bar tabs are not available.
Do you offer tours of your venue during the week?
The Heritage Centre is open on the first Thursday of each month for tours. Bookings can be made for 10.30am. Come and explore behind the scenes and get up close with the ATC Heritage collection. Book here!
Can I spread my late family member's ashes on the track?
Yes, with approval via Venue General Manager and Tracks Manager. Call our office on 1300 729 668 to get in touch.
When is your next family day?
At Canterbury Park we have Kia Friday Night Racing that runs on selected Friday nights from November to February. These race nights have free entry, food markets and free kids’ entertainment.

On a hot day, do I have to wear a blazer?
During daylight savings, jackets are optional with the Members’ Reserve. (Chairman’s Club requires a jacket at all times).
Outside of daylight savings in the cooler months jackets are compulsory, however on hotter days this rule may be lifted at our discretion and patrons will be notified via newsletters or social media.
*Ties are always compulsory in the Members Reserve areas.
General Admission are not required to wear jackets or ties.

Note: Failure to comply with Dress Regulations may result in exclusion from the racecourse and is at the discretion of staff.
Are the races cancelled if it is raining or too hot?
Postponed racedays will be announced via ATC newsletters (bottom left hand corner to subscribe), Racing NSW, Sky Sports and the ATC website and social media channels before or on the day.
Due care and attention will be paid to the welfare of horses racing in extreme weather. Races may be postponed at the discretion of Racing NSW Stewards and the ATC if weather is deemed too hot or too dangerous.
Do I need to wear a hat/fascinator?
No, hats and fascinators are not mandatory.
Can I bring my own food to the races?
Patrons are not permitted to bring their own food and/or drinks on course.

What can I bring to the races?
No food, alcohol, glassware, knives or open beverages are allowed on course. Strictly no balloons, sparklers or firecrackers (of any kind), or confetti are allowed at any of our venues.

Can I leave the racecourse and come back in?
Yes, just ensure you take your ticket/pass with you and scan your ticket as you leave the racecourse.
Please be aware, that by leaving the venue, you will be subject to our Conditions of entry when re-entering.
Where can I buy a racebook?
Racebooks are usually available for purchase at the main entrance points and concierges. If not – ask a team member to point you in the right direction.
Is there WiFi available?
Yes. Please take advantage of the FREE high capacity WiFi available at all ATC venues. Simply log in from anywhere around the course.
Are there parent facilities on-course?
For the convenience of parents, there are parent facilities located at each course
Royal Randwick:
– Located in the restrooms between Gate B & C.
– Octagonal Bathrooms
– Ground Floor of QEII Stand.
Rosehill Gardens:
– Level 3: JR Fleming Grandstand (General Admission).
– Level 1: Ground floor, lift foyer.
Canterbury Park: Located in the disabled toilet facility, Ground floor, General Admission.
Warwick Farm: Located in the JHB Carr stand Ground floor.

Can I smoke cigarettes/e-cigarettes on course? Are there designated smoking areas?
Yes – in designated smoking areas only. This includes the use of e-cigarettes.

When can I use my complimentary Member Reserve ticket codes?
Member Guest Vouchers are available and valid for the current Membership season, expiring on 31 July.
Member Guest Vouchers are subject to restrictions during Carnival periods. Please ensure your contact details are up to date to receive more information regarding guest limits and ticket pricing.
Can I pay my Membership in instalments?
You may pay in Membership by our PayPal Payin4 instalments. Click the join or renew button then at the payment screen, select PayPal Payin4 as your payment option.
Can I bring guests with me to the races?
Members can purchase additional tickets for their guests here.
If I purchase a Daily Guest pass and it is not used, can I receive a refund?
No, tickets are non-refundable.
What does a Members car pass entitle me to?
ATC Members can purchase annual parking passes for the current racing season.

The new Member application asks for a proposer, what is this for?
We ask potential new Members are proposed for Membership by an existing Member in order to comply with the Registered Clubs Act 1976 and also with Australian Turf Club corporate governance guidelines. If you do not know any current Members you can simply include the details of a professional or personal referee who can verify your identity and that you are a suitable candidate for Membership.
I have applied and paid for a Membership, what happens next?
Upon application and payment being received, your Membership application will be reviewed.
Once approved, your Membership card will be mailed to you within approximately 10 working days.

I have changed my details, how do I let you know?
If your address or other contact details change, you are required to notify the Membership Office as soon as possible. These changes can be advised by:

- Online via Membership Lounge. Country, interstate and international Members requiring an address change need to contact the Membership Office.

Do I need to provide my email address?
While it is not mandatory that Members provide an email address, in support of our goal to reduce our carbon footprint the Australian Turf Club will increasingly be communicating information to Members via email. In addition, special offers throughout the season will be sent to Members via email. You can supply your email via:

NOTE: Email addresses cannot be shared across Member profiles. Each Member must have his/her own email address in order to receive email notifications and/or utilise the Member-only section of the website.
Can you explain the Membership renewal process?
The Membership season is aligned with the racing season and run from 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2024. Membership Renewal notifications are sent by email and hard copy in the mail with your annual Membership Magazine, alerting you to renew your Membership.
When is my Membership fee due?
The Membership season runs from 1 August through to 31 July.
Members who fail to renew Membership within the current season, will result in their Membership being classified as lapsed (unfinancial) and their existing Membership card or any Annual Guest cards will be made inactive.
What time do gates open for Members on a raceday?
Gates for Members usually open 15 minutes before General Admission gates. However, this is subject to change. We recommend you check times closer to the event date to help plan your day.

Due to occupational health and safety regulations, under no circumstances will Members be permitted to enter the racecourse prior to the Members’ gate opening times. Members found on course prior to the official gate opening times may be asked to leave the course. Gate times will vary on feature racedays and during winter.
What should I do if I have lost my Membership card or car pass?
The loss or theft of Membership cards, Annual Guest cards and car passes must be reported to Membership as soon as possible. We will cancel your current Membership card and issue you with a new card.

If I forget my Membership card on a raceday, what should I do?
If you forget your Membership Card on a raceday, you may use your digital card as an alternative.
If neither is available, please visit Gate A or the Infield entrance at Royal Randwick, or the Might And Power Ticket Office at Rosehill Gardens, to obtain a temporary Members Reserve Ticket.
Please note that temporary tickets do not record attendance or provide food and beverage discounts.
Can I lend my Membership card to a friend or relative for the day?
No, Member cards are strictly non-transferable. Lending of Membership cards to a non-Member is a serious breach of the Australian Turf Club policy and may lead to a review by the ATC Board of Directors’ of the Member.
Lending Member cards to others in order to purchase daily Members tickets is also prohibited under Club Rules. See our Code of Conduct for more information.
Each ATC Member agreed to adhere to the Club Rules when signing the terms and conditions at the time of joining or renewing. Member cards discovered in use by any person other than the Member will be confiscated on the spot.
Is my Membership transferable to a relative if I no longer wish to be a member?
Yes, Membership may be transferred upon payment of a transfer fee. An application must be completed by the NEW Member and transfer fee made payable to Membership. The new Member tenure will commence at the time of transfer fee payment.
In the event of the death of a Member it is incumbent on the next of kin to advise the Club in writing as soon as is practical. See our Club Rules and Code of Conduct.
Where do I park at Royal Randwick?
Infield provides free parking on the grass.
A yearly purchased Carpark Pass is required if you are wishing to park on the cement in the Infield or in the Ascot Multi Deck Parking. Members can enjoy convenient parking close to the venue by purchasing a car parking pass.
