The metaphorical heart of the course. Massive screens adorn the walls show all the races including those elsewhere. Place a bet at the TAB or one of the myriad of bookies in the Betting Ring. Bars, cafes and toilets are close by.
The Leger Lawn is a spacious grassed area where racegoers can relax near to pop-up bars and street food vans. Stand by the fence for race to hear the unforgettable thunder of the hooves as the horses run down the home straight.
Centennial Level 3
This third floor oasis with comfortable lounges, bistro and bars also has outdoor seating offering a bird’s eye view across the whole track. Acccesible by escalator or elevator at the southern end of Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand.

Today the historic Octagonal Building houses the Malt Taphouse serving rotisserie dishes and craft ales. From 1917 until late into the 20th Century it housed the automated totalisator, a technological wonder of pullys and levers which worked out odds and allowed betting on-course for the first time.
Official Stand (Members Only)
Immerse yourself in the grandeur and history of the Official Stand which was built in 1886. It offers one of the best racing views at Royal Randwick. Restricted to Members and Members’ guests only.
Heritage Gallery (Members Only)
Since October 1810 when Sydney’s first official race took place in Hyde Park, horseracing has been at the cultural heart of the city. The Heritage Gallery on the groundfloor of the Official Stand brings this story to life.
The Stables (Members Only)
Vibrant 4th floor social hub offering panoramic views of both the track and the iconic Sydney skyline. An ideal spot for lunch or a post-racing cocktail!
