With Mother’s Day on the horizon, we were lucky enough to check in on the mighty Winx to see how Australia’s darling of the turf is faring in retirement and by all reports, she continues to flourish in the paddock as a mother-to-be.

Having completed an astonishing racing career with more than $26 million in the bank, 37 wins (the last 33 consecutive) which feature 25 Group 1 victories, life is dandy for the star eight-year-old daughter of Street Cry out of Vegas Showgirl.

Magic Bloodstock’s Peter Tighe of the Winx ownership group said all is well with the expectant mother.

With an 11+ month gestation period, Winx, who is carrying a foal by Australia’s leading stallion I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit), is expected to give birth in spring as the world eagerly awaits this next exciting chapter.
