Sydney’s world-famous Royal Randwick is headed for an unprecedented second sold-out raceday this year at the running of the TAB Everest on Saturday 19 October.
Less than 10,000 general admission tickets remain for this year’s Everest Day – with sales almost 30 per cent ahead of the same period last year.
More than 90 per cent of all corporate hospitality spaces have now been sold across Royal Randwick for Everest Day.
Many restaurant and Members Reserve areas in the Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand and Officials Stand are already sold out.
Royal Randwick was officially sold out in Autumn earlier this year, with 43,833 people on track to witness Australia’s wonder mare Winx win the Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes in her farewell race.
To cater for further demand from corporate clients this Spring, the Australian Turf Club is building a new trackside precinct, The Estate, on the Oaks Lawn for the seven-week Everest Carnival.
It features two distinct spaces: The Manor, with luxurious corporate private suites; and The Conservatory, a shared trackside glass-walled venue.
The Estate will operate at Royal Randwick across the Everest Carnival – Colgate Optic White Stakes Day on 21 September, TAB Epsom Day on 5 October, Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day on 12 October, Everest Day on October 19, City Tattersalls Club Cup Day on 26 October, and The Agency Cup Day on Tuesday 5 November.
Limited corporate hospitality tickets now remain in The Estate on Everest Day.
For general admission customers another new Australian Turf Club precinct, Pony Palms, will be situated on the popular Leger Lawn.
Pony Palms will feature poolside entertainment from a host of high-profile DJs and music acts during the Everest Carnival, all included in the cost of general admission tickets.
Exclusive private cabanas inside Pony Palms are also on sale.
Group public ticket sales can be purchased from theraces.com.au
Australian Turf Club Executive General Manager Commercial Corina Black said Pony Palms and The Estate offered all racegoers the ultimate day of racing and entertainment.
“Whether it be corporate Australia in modern suites or the glamorous Pony Palms, Royal Randwick will be a stylish and fun way to enjoy world-class racing,” Ms Black said.
“After the unforgettable sold-out day to farewell Winx, Royal Randwick is now getting ready to host another capacity event watched around the world.”
