The Everest Carnival Fashion Lunch returns this spring on TAB Epsom Raceday, Saturday 3 October 2020, bringing with it more style and entertainment than ever before. Guests will be treated to a bespoke three-course lunch curated by Dany Karam, award-winning Executive Chef of The Star’s BLACK Bar & Grill, and complemented by De Bortoli Wines. Following a Gordon’s Pink Gin Cocktail on arrival, Chandon NV Rose will be flowing throughout the day with an option for guests to upgrade to Moët & Chandon.

In light of Natalie Bassingthwaighte feeling unwell, the multi-talented Prinnie Stevens has taken over the reins as today’s live performer at the sold-out event.

Other highlights include the Everest Carnival Spring Fashion Runway presented by Vogue Australia and charity prize draws will inspire in a COVID-safe environment within the spectacular Ballroom of Royal Randwick which overlooks the track. Edwina McCann, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Australia since 2012 is this year’s Woman of Influence and will take to the stage for a special Q&A session. Edwina’s career in media spans senior editorships with publications such as The Australian and Harper’s Bazaar Australia, where she was Editor-in-Chief. In 2018 she was also appointed Editorial Director of the Conde Nast brands in Australia, encompassing Vogue, Vogue Living and GQ. Edwina is co-chair to the Australian Fashion Council and is a council member of Australia’s Nation Brand Advisory Council.

The major prize in the Everest Carnival Fashion Lunch raffle is a $30,000 Cerrone diamond and sapphire necklace, with all proceeds from the raffle going to the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.

On the track, TAB Epsom Day is Everest Carnival’s biggest day of racing including three Group 1 races (the most prestigious class of racing). A day ideal for a flutter and one that is much loved by racing purists boast over $3.8m in prizemoney and is headlined by the $1 million TAB Epsom.

To meet NSW Government Public Health Orders, the Everest Carnival Fashion Lunch event will require each guest to be temperature checked on arrival and scan the QR code on their smart phone device before being seated.

The initial allocation for the Everest Carnival Fashion Lunch has sold-out. Any further release of tickets will be subject to NSW Government Health Orders and Operating restrictions being eased closer to the event. If I do not renew for 2021 can my vouchers 2020 still be redeemed in 2021?

Members who are unfinancial from February 2021, will be unable to redeem any vouchers remaining from the current season.

The Official Grandstand will remain a Members only area.

Will I be temperature tested?

Yes, all guests will have their temperature checked upon arrival using either handheld thermometers or thermal imaging camera technology. Any temperature that exceeds 37.5 will be retested after 15 minutes.

What if I am feeling unwell or have visited a COVID-19 hot spot recently?

If you are not feeling well prior to the event we ask that you do not attend, a full refund will be offered.
