The Australian Turf Club (ATC) is set to unveil an all-new corporate entertainment and hospitality precinct, The Estate, during the 2019 Everest Carnival at Royal Randwick, from September 21 – November 5, 2019.
The Estate is a luxurious racing destination located on the rails past the winning post – close enough to almost touch the horses galloping by – comprising of The Manor and The Conservatory marquees.
Promising an exciting new raceday experience, The Estate offers a VIP experience at Royal Randwick like no other, including catering designed by culinary maestro Guillaume Brahimi, music, uninterrupted views of the track set over 2,000 square metres and TAB Betting Lounge.
Brahimi, who was today announced as the Everest Carnival’s catering partner, said he was excited to curate a special menu for guests of The Estate featuring some of his most iconic dishes with a French flair to treat racegoers.
“Sydney has been my home for 25 years, so to be able to join the Australian Turf Club’s new premium hospitality precinct in The Estate is an honour.
“This gives me the opportunity to showcase an exclusive menu for guests in The Manor and The Conservatory across the Everest Carnival, where I’ll create some new spring-inspired dishes and bring some of my most loved ones to Royal Randwick.
“I’m very excited by the opportunity to offer a French influence at the Everest Carnival and help make
Sydney racing a world-class event.”
Some of the tasty treats racegoers can experience in The Estate include:
– Jamon Iberico with truffle butter on mini baguette
– Guillaume’s sausage rolls with truffle
– Spanner crab sandwich with coriander mayonnaise
– Wagyu Beef cheeks with Paris Mash and red wine sauce
– Chargrilled King salmon and crispy pork belly with cucumber and herb salad
– Pea Tortellini with Goat Cheese, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Mint
– Mini profiteroles, vanilla bean ice cream, warm Valrhona chocolate sauce
Corina Black, ATC Executive General Manager of Commercial, said she is thrilled for The Estate to create a new destination for racing fans to enjoy the star services of Brahimi.
“The Estate is something Sydney racing has never seen before and gives Royal Randwick its own distinct A-list space for corporate, business and celebrity guests, where they can enjoy the beautiful spring weather and Group 1 race action.
“The Everest Carnival has experienced significant growth since inception three years ago and continues to further expand in 2019, by partnering with one of Australia’s best chefs, Guillaume Brahimi, who will be curating a special menu for The Estate.”
The Estate is one of many new offerings coming to Royal Randwick this year, as it shapes up for another successful seven-week Everest Carnival featuring the world’s richest turf race, the $14 million The TAB Everest (1200m) on Saturday 19, October.
The Estate is now open for bookings, with further information available at: theraces.com.au
