The Australian Turf Club is pleased to announce Corina Black has been appointed to the position of Executive General Manager Commercial.

Ms Black, who begins in the role today, has previously held senior leadership positions in sport, major events, tourism, hospitality and entertainment.

Most recently, Ms Black was General Manager Sales, Commercial and Marketing for the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.

Australian Turf Club Chief Executive Jamie Barkley said Ms Black added further strength to the Club’s core focus of returning benefits to its Members and Sydney racing.

“We are thrilled to welcome an executive of Corina’s talent and experience at a great time of promise for Sydney racing,” Mr Barkley said.

“Sydney racing is the hottest ticket in town and we have three of the top 10 rated races in the world along with Australia’s richest race The Everest and Australia’s second richest race the Golden Eagle.

“Corina and her team will continue to build on these and other events right across the year for the ultimate benefit of Sydney racing and everyone involved in it.”
