The Australian Turf Club (ATC) will once again host the popular Pink Fashion Lunch supporting the McGrath Foundation to officially kick off the six-week Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival at Chandon Ladies Day at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday 13 March.

Western Sydney’s fashion and social event of the Autumn will feature one of Australia’s most popular recording artists and performers Christine Anu after her recent show-stopping performances at the ARIAs and Australian of the Year Awards.

Ms Anu will wow guests with a medley of award-winning hits including My Island Home and Come Join My Party, amongst others.

The COVID-Safe event also features a sumptuous celebrity-chef-prepared three-course luncheon and beverages, an Autumn fashion runway show, ‘Women of Influence’ guest speakers and raffle prizes to complement a sensational day of Group 1 Sydney Autumn Carnival racing.

Like the iconic annual Pink Test, racegoers at Sydney’s official pink raceday at Rosehill Gardens will also be encouraged to wear a splash of pink on Chandon Ladies Day in support of the McGrath Foundation, and those affected by breast cancer.

“I’m excited to be partnering with the Australian Turf Club for the Pink Fashion Lunch supporting the McGrath Foundation and am especially looking forward to performing to a live audience at Rosehill Gardens,” Ms Anu said.

“I’ll be wearing a touch of pink in support of the day and hopefully my music and energy can inspire.”

Corina Black, Australian Turf Club Executive General Manager Commercial, said she was thrilled to secure star performer Christine Anu and was proud of how Chandon Ladies Day and the Pink Fashion Lunch had developed into one of the most sough-after tickets this Autumn.

“The Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival celebrates fashion, hospitality, world-class racing, community and entertainment and Chandon Ladies Day featuring the Pink Fashion Lunch epitomises all of that,” Ms Black said.

“This is the second year we have partnered with the McGrath Foundation for the Pink Fashion Lunch on Chandon Ladies Day and we’re honoured to have secured such an inspiring and talented performer as Christine Anu.”

All funds raised by the McGrath Foundation during the Pink Fashion Lunch and across the entire racecourse on Chandon Ladies Day will go towards funding McGrath Breast Care Nurses, who support people with breast cancer and their families by providing invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support, from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.
