Capacity Fields Across Royal Randwick Card on Civic Stakes Day

17 June, 2026

A capacity field – one of seven on a full ten-race card – lines up in a Sydney winter feature this Saturday at Royal Randwick for Civic Stakes Day.

A full field of 15 runners along with six emergencies are entered for the Listed $200,000 Drinkwise Civic Stakes on a program which has attracted 172 entries.

Midnight Dynamite is the early TAB Fixed Odds favourite at $3.50 in the Drinkwise Civic Stakes for Warwick Farm trainer Bjorn Baker and jockey Jason Collett.

Collett won last year’s Drinkwise Civic Stakes on Headley Grange – a horse who went on to win the $1.5 million Alan Brown Stakes last Spring and more recently became a Group 1 winner.

General Salute for trainers Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou and jockey Tim Clark is $6 TAB Fixed Odds, followed in betting by last year’s Civic Stakes winning trainer in Joe Pride’s Cool Jakey ($6.50 TAB) with Adam Hyeronimus aboard.

Only two other horses are under double figures – both at $8.50 TAB early – Whinchat (David Pfieffer/Jay Ford) and Zabiari (Ciaron Maher/Nash Rawiller).

Full fields for Royal Randwick are available here and full TAB markets for all ten races are available here.

Saturday continues the ATC’s Winter Long Lunch – a three-course five-hour plus dining experience in Royal Randwick’s prestigious Chairman’s Club.

Full details of Saturday’s offer along with future racedays are available here.

The Winter Long Lunch will run until the end of August and is available for both ATC Members and non-Members.
