Royal Randwick welcomes Black Type racing back to the venue this Saturday, 26 May for Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation Race Day.

Races on the day have been named in acknowledgement of some of the major partners of Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation and the Ballroom will host a 500 person function in the effort to raise funds to support a number of outreach programs for kids with cancer.

The racing highlight on the nine race program is the Listed $150,000 Fujitsu Air Conditioning McKell Cup where last start winner Our Century opened as the $3.50 TAB Fixed Odds favourite.

Our Century will face eight-year-old Ecuador, who will be looking to make history and become the first duel winner of the race since its inception. Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, the gelding opened at $3.80 TAB Fixed Odds.

Market odds for the full program on Saturday are available at TAB.com.au

The Royal Randwick track was rated a Soft 5 on Thursday morning and a full report by Nevesh Ramdhani, Royal Randwick Track Manager, is available here.

Tipped as the best value on course, racegoers can pre-purchase the Punters Pack for $39 at theATC.com.au. The Punters Pack includes racecourse entry, two standard drinks, a food pack and a racebook.

The first race on Saturday is at 11.25am and last race at 4.30pm. Gates open at 10.30am.
