The Australian Turf Club culinary teams have come together to support the community in these times of isolation and social distancing by providing ready-to-eat meals for our Members who are most in need.
The initiative was conceived by the kitchen teams from Rosehill Gardens and Royal Randwick in consultation with our Membership, Executive and Community Engagement teams, focusing first and foremost on our Members over 65 years of age that may be finding it hard to locate and source fresh food and products in the current climate of isolation and shopping shelves being cleared of stock.
The business and our suppliers have put their full support behind the idea, which has resulted in more than 900 ready-to-eat, restaurant quality meals being produced. These meals can be delivered to Members or picked up on their behalf by their families if they require assistance.
The meals produced include slow-cooked barramundi with dill cream sauce and roasted vegetables; butter chicken with saffron rice and yogurt; lamb, vegetable and potato pie; penne bolognaise with parmesan; creamy three-cheese ravioli with kale, zucchini and roasted onion.
The complimentary ATC care meals are a small way of our team giving something back to our Members when it matters most.
