AUSTRALIAN TURF CLUB LAUNCHES THE MANOR BY CHINA DOLL OFFERING NEW WORLD-CLASS HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE ON EVEREST DAY

September 2, 2022

The Australian Turf Club (ATC) is delighted to announce an exclusive new partnership with Sydney’s iconic restaurant China Doll for the upcoming Sydney Everest Carnival. Guests attending The Manor by China Doll will enjoy stylish trackside hospitality set against the backdrop of the world’s richest turf race, the $15 million The TAB Everest at Royal Randwick on Saturday 15 October.

Following record sales of Everest Day hospitality, the Australian Turf Club and China Doll have curated this prestigious new experience to meet the unprecedented demand for Sydney Everest Carnival’s feature day. Award-winning Executive Head Chef Frank Shek will introduce China’s Doll’s most iconic Asian-infused flavours and creations on Sydney’s biggest day of racing including Australian Wagyu, premium sustainable seafood, fan favourite food fare from the renowned Woolloomooloo Wharf restaurant, and exclusively designed delicacies.

Guests will also enjoy premium beverages including Moët and Chandon, the official champagne partner of the ATC. The Manor by China Doll will be enviably located within The Estate, Royal Randwick’s best-in-class hospitality precinct with exclusive grounds adjacent to Royal Randwick’s famous Members’ Lawn offering uninterrupted
trackside views.

China Doll Executive Head Chef Frank Shek said: “China Doll is honoured to participate in what is one of the most prominent and prestigious events on the global racing and social calendar. We look forward to bringing the experience of dining at our restaurant from wharf side to trackside at Royal Randwick!”

ATC Executive General Manager Commercial Melinda Madigan said: “We are thrilled by the growing demand for hospitality across this Sydney Everest Carnival, and particularly on Everest Day where we are experiencing the highest number of bookings on record, and with still over six weeks to go. “The new The Manor by China Doll on Australia’s fastest growing raceday promises to be a celebration of world-class style, entertainment and dining, with a mouthwatering all-day Modern Asian Cuisine grazing menu at arguably the best location on course.”

With Everest Day hospitality selling in record time this year, the ATC is also pleased to announce the release of new Everest Day hospitality experiences including The Botanic presented by Chandon Garden Spritz, a vibrant spring garden party overlooking Royal Randwick’s famous Theatre of the Horse and the trackside Chalets, primely located on the Leger Lawn at the 200m mark on the home straight.
