Australian Turf Club extends Memberships at no cost
August 14, 2021
The Australian Turf Club has provided its loyal Members with a significant reduction in the cost of renewing annual subscriptions for 2021-22.
The Australian Turf Club has been a leader in recognising the tremendous loyalty and patience of its most passionate patrons – our Members. This cost reduction comes in addition to the Club previously freezing fees and increasing benefits during 2020 and 2021.
Current Memberships, which were due to expire on 31 July 2021, will now be extended to 31 December 2021 at no cost.
That’s five months of Australian Turf Club Membership for free.
“I would prefer to be generous and early with this offer as opposed to being late and have people guessing what we were going to do for Members,” Australian Turf Club chairman Matt McGrath said.
“The five-month extension is to compensate our Members for being very patient and loyal to our club.”
Also, ATC Dollar food and beverage credit balances and Guest Ticket vouchers will remain current to 31 December 2021 as we look forward to welcoming Members back on course when restrictions allow.
This decision by the Australian Turf Club recognises not only the mental and physical strains placed on communities, but also the financial impact to many people.
“The ATC is being driven by what the State Government health orders allow us to do but we would love to have some crowd during the spring,” Mr McGrath said.
“At The Everest last year, we had just over 12,000 on track due to the conditions at the time.
“We are hopeful the situation improves to allow for some Members and punters to be back on track for The Everest event this year.”
To help to continue to support your Club, we encourage Members to renew their Memberships as soon as they are able.
Current Membership cards will remain active until 31 December 2021 before the introduction of new photo ID cards for all Members as part of the renewal.
The Australian Turf Club Board and the entire team thanks all ATC Members and hopes everyone is staying safe and well in these challenging times.
