Australian Turf Club Board elects new Chairman and Vice-Chair

The Board of Directors of the Australian Turf Club has this evening elected Tim Hale SC as Chairman.
Mr Hale has served on the ATC Board since February 2021 and brings extensive legal expertise, governance experience and a long connection to racing.
The vote followed Peter McGauran standing down as Chairman.
Mr McGauran remains a Director of the ATC.
The Board this evening elected Caroline Searcy as Vice-Chair.
Ms Searcy has been on the Board since February 2023 and is a respected and long-standing advocate for the industry, along with holding high-profile media roles.
Mr Hale will make further public comment to ATC Members and the media in coming days.
